PNG and JPEG go in as they are — a JPEG is not re-encoded, so a photograph keeps its original compression instead of bloating the saved file. Other formats your browser can display are converted automatically.
Resize without stretching
The aspect ratio is locked while you resize, so a logo cannot come out squashed — you set the width and the height follows.

Adding a signature image is not signing a document
You can place a scan or a PNG of your signature on a page, and for many everyday purposes that is exactly what is wanted. It is worth being clear about what it is not: a picture of a signature carries no cryptographic proof of who applied it or that the document is unaltered since. It is not a digital signature, not a qualified electronic signature, and it will not satisfy a process that requires one.
If you need a legally binding electronic signature with an audit trail, use a service built for that. If you need your signature to appear on a page, this does it in about ten seconds.
Put a letterhead on a document produced by someone else’s system
Invoices out of accounting software, statements out of a bank export, reports out of a generator — documents that arrive correct but unbranded. Place the logo once, save the configuration, and apply the same treatment to every subsequent file.

Both files are opened by your browser and stay there. That matters more than it sounds for this particular job — a signature image is one of the more sensitive things you can hand to a stranger’s server, and here you do not have to.

What image formats can I use?
PNG and JPEG directly. Other formats your browser can display are converted to PNG automatically. PNG transparency is preserved, which is what you want for a logo.
Can I put an image on every page?
Yes — all pages, odd, even, or a custom range like 2, 5-7, 10.
Will my logo be stretched?
No. The aspect ratio is locked while resizing.
Is this a digital signature?
No. It places a picture of a signature. It carries no cryptographic proof and will not satisfy a process that requires a qualified electronic signature.
Can I put the image behind the page text?
Yes, which is how you make a faded background logo. Note that behind only shows through where the page is transparent — on a scan it will be hidden.
Is my image uploaded?
No. Neither the image nor the PDF leaves your browser.
Can I add more than one image?
One image at a time per document today. Save and re-open the result to add another.
